Direct mail is an outreach method for sending a physical letter or printed promotional materials through a postal or courier service.
Some of the most popular marketing materials distributed via direct mail are postcards, flyers, catalogs, or even branded merchandise. The main goal of this tactic is to get the prospect's attention.
- Direct mail marketing is the traditional marketing tactic that uses physical mail to deliver various promotional materials to the prospect’s inbox thus building awareness and engagement. It’s an offline equivalent to email marketing. Yet, both tactics can be used side by side within a single outreach sequence for better multichannel engagement.
