Sales engineer is a person with advanced technical knowledge helping facilitate the sales process for complex products or services.
This role is often considered to be a link between product development and sales.
Technical sales engineers often conduct hands-on demos explaining how the product works and collaborates with the prospect's team to assess hardware needs and system requirements.
At the same time, they need to convey that information in a clear and easy-to-understand manner, helping the prospect understand the benefits without being overwhelmed with technical details.
