Lead generation is the process of attracting and initiating contact with people who might be potentially interested in your product or service.
Lead gen usually happens at the early stage of the buyer’s journey, i.e. while creating awareness.
Unlike demand generation that aims to spark people’s interest in what you’re offering, lead generation focuses more on turning that interest into actual contacts to fill up your sales funnel.
Lead generation is usually accomplished using inbound strategies.
