Sales sequence refers to the scheduled touchpoints between a salesperson and their leads within an outreach campaign.

Also referred to as a sales cadence, it is a more specific term used mostly when talking about outreach or sales engagement campaigns.

Outreach sequences typically use a consistent set of touchpoints across a variety of channels, such as emails, phone calls, and interactions via social media.

The goal of any sequence is to build awareness and increases the chance of reaching a lead on their preferred channel.
