A drip campaign is a preset series of automated emails sent to prospects over a certain period of time.
It is typically initiated in response to a certain prospect’s action or changes in their status. Yet, unlike triggered messages, it usually includes several drip emails.
Often referred to as drip marketing, the use of such campaigns is a popular strategy for lead nurturing or reengagement, as well as user onboarding.
