ClickFunnels review 2025: The Right Sales Tool for Your Business?

ClickFunnels review 2025: The Right Sales Tool for Your Business?

Over the past few years, new players have emerged in the SaaS market, a few even giving the established old-school products some real competition.

While sales, marketing, and operational workflows are becoming more tangled and interconnected, some of these new products are more consolidated than ever to help businesses manage multiple workflows under one roof.

ClickFunnels is a prime example of such a tool.

Created in 2024, ClickFunnels quickly took the SaaS market by storm with a mix of aggressive marketing and a bundle of diverse features, from sales and marketing to customer support and beyond.

Now, whether it’s the right tool for your business or not depends on multiple factors, because it’s definitely not for everyone.

That’s exactly why we’ve written this review where we’ll dive deep into ClickFunnels’ main features, pricing plans, pros and cons from verified users, and whether it’s worth the investment compared to specialized alternatives like Reply.io

What is ClickFunnels?

First things first, let’s fully understand what is ClickFunnels and how it works, because believe me, unfortunately, it’s far from straightforward.

ClickFunnels is a comprehensive all-in-one SaaS platform that’s primarily designed to help businesses easily create and operate sales funnels, but it also has an abundance of marketing, customer support, and CRM features included.

In theory, ClickFunnels aims to manage potential customers throughout the entire sales journey, from initial inbound awareness all the way to conversion. On top of that, whether you need to maintain customer profiles, respond to customer support queries, optimize your content with SEO, or even create websites and landing pages—ClickFunnel has it all.

What is ClickFunnels review

The problem is, that platforms like these are often ‘jacks of all trades and masters of none’, and ClickFunnels is no exception.

Take sales, for instance, ClickFunnels’ primary solution. Compared to specialized sales platforms like Reply.io it simply stands no chance, and the same goes when compared to dedicated marketing or lead generation tools, and so on.

The good thing is that ClickFunnels can be used across various business scenarios, from small startups looking to manage all their operations with an all-in-one lightweight solution to e-commerce businesses seeking to manage their customer journeys and grow their brand awareness. It’s also a suitable tool for solopreneurs looking to build and launch their online store or digital course!

However, growing B2B businesses will most likely be better off with dedicated sales, marketing, customer service, and CRM platforms integrated into one powerful tool stack.

ClickFunnels main features

As previously mentioned, ClickFunnels offers a wide range of features, in fact so many that it would take ages to cover in detail one by one. Therefore, we will explore the main features that are most in demand for modern B2B and B2C businesses.

Let’s get started!

Sales funnels

Sales funnels are considered the core feature of ClickFunnels, and in all fairness, they do make them very streamlined. Users can seamlessly create and optimize multi-step sales journeys that guide potential buyers from awareness to purchase, though it’s worth noting that the main focus is on inbound leads.

Sales funnels as a click funnel feature

This actually makes sense given the increasingly blurred lines between inbound marketing and inbound sales journeys, so if you’re prioritizing inbound lead generation—ClickFunnels’ sales funnels are definitely worth checking out.

But if you’re mostly interested in outbound sales features—you’re better off with an outbound-focused sales platform. Platforms like Reply.io leverage AI to create personalized multichannel outreach campaigns while having useful inbound features as well.

Back to ClickFunnels, users do get a lot of various sub-features within their sales funnel workflows—a neat drag-and-drop editor to design every step of every funnel without any coding, pre-built funnel templates suitable for various industries, automated upsells and downsells during the checkout process, and easily integrated payment gateways to ensure smooth transactions.

ClickFunnels promises to make you money 24/7 with their automated sales funnels that, when set up correctly, can build trust with your customers and move them towards a purchase on autopilot.

Personalized at scale. Meetings on autopilot.

Your prospects won’t even know it’s AI—but your sales team will love the non-stop booked meetings.

Websites (+ landing pages)

Perhaps not a highly relevant feature for sales teams (but then again, ClickFunnels isn’t really a sales tool when you think about it) is its pretty cool website and landing page builder.

Websites (+ landing pages) as a click funnel feature

What used to take a bunch of time and coding expertise can now be done right within this platform, that is, users can create visually appealing websites and landing pages with ClickFunnels’ drag-and-drop features.

An optimized website is crucial for every business, but so are personalized landing pages when it comes to getting the attention of potential customers.

With ClickFunnels, users can create responsive, multi-page websites with navigation menus and customizable layouts, all while ensuring that they stay in tune with their company brand and identity.

The same goes for landing pages, only they are even easier to build with ClickFunnel’s rich library of professionally designed templates for various use cases, including lead generation, webinar sign-ups, and so on.

Last but not least, users can optimize their newly created websites with SEO right within the platform to improve their online visibility and drive organic traffic.

Email marketing

We all know how important emails are to both sales and marketing efforts, even with the boom in social media channels used by businesses. With ClickFunnels, much like any other sales or marketing platform, users can create and automate email outreach campaigns with a few simple clicks.

Once again, the main focus here is on inbound outreach, launching optimized email sequences when certain triggers occur, for instance when users fill out a web form or sign up for a webinar, to name a few.

ClickFunnels’ email automation goes a step further and also addresses the more revenue-impacting behaviors like abandoned cart reminders, helping businesses stay on top of all potential sales opportunities.

Unfortunately, there are no multichannel outreach features available for more effective sales outreach, so that’s something to keep in mind before committing to this tool.

The platform incorporates demographics, behavior, and purchase history to ensure a high degree of relevancy and personalization with every campaign and every email sent.

As a nice addition, ClickFunnels offers users countless email templates to use in their marketing efforts like promo campaigns and customer onboarding, but if you’re more interested in selling than promoting—check out some of these sales-focused templates for inspiration.

Analytics

Analytics as a click funnel feature

Data is the fuel of all competitive businesses, helping them make smart and timely decisions across all areas of their operations, and ClickFunnels saves you the hassle of jumping between tools to get your analytics.

ClickFunnels’ analytics are lightweight but straightforward, covering the performance of multiple processes:

  • Funnels → monitors conversion rates for each stage of every unique funnel, helping identify bottlenecks and what can be optimized;
  • Web and landing pages → analyzes bounce rates, time on page, conversion rates, behavioral patterns, and more to better understand your customers;
  • Email campaigns → open, reply, and conversion rates, helping you determine the best sequences and the most effective emails that lead to future purchases;
  • Traffic source → tracks where your website visitors come from and which channels drive the most conversions to refine your marketing strategy;

Users have the option to tailor ClickFunnels reports to specific metrics and business goals that interest them most, while the platform constantly gives access to real-time data, both helping users make the best data-driven decisions.

CRM

Among all other things, ClickFunnels also has CRM functionalities to help businesses manage the entire customer lifecycle and keep all processes running smoothly under one roof.

CRM as a click funnel feature

Going back to our earlier point, unfortunately, these CRM features are pretty lightweight and incomparable to standalone CRM platforms, and that’s the main issue with ClickFunnels as a whole—it tries to bite off more than it can chew.

The noteworthy CRM features include:

  • Contact management → allows users to create a centralized database for all customer profiles, including purchase history and online behavior;
  • Pipeline management → allows sales teams to track the progress of leads throughout the sales funnel, enabling them to prioritize high-priority prospects;
  • Customer support → allows businesses to manage support tickets and customer inquiries directly within the platform;
  • Integrations → users can connect ClickFunnels to the most popular sales, marketing, and CRM tools for a more enhanced and cohesive functionality.

There’s also a built-in appointment-booking tool for easier sales meetings with potential buyers and a pretty cool MessageHub that merges all conversations from various channels, including social media platforms, also helping businesses effectively manage their social media pipeline.

Extras

As previously mentioned, ClickFunnels has just too many features to describe them all in detail, so now that we’ve covered the main 5, let’s take a look at some of the cool extras that this platform offers:

  • A/B testing → users can test different variations of their email campaigns, sales funnels, and web and landing pages to continuously optimize performance.
  • Drag-and-drop editor → this has come up several times already—their helpful drag-and-drop feature applies to building funnels, web pages, lead magnets, and more;
  • API & webhooks → enables custom integrations and complex workflows with other applications, without requiring serious coding skills;
  • Content management → marketers can create and manage blog posts, optimize content with SEO, and create social media posts right within the platform;
  • Community and support → ClickFunnels has built a vibrant community of users thanks to their extensive online resources, including helpful tutorials and good-old forums, supporting users with constant ongoing learning and development.

These additional features definitely add value to the platform as a whole, but they definitely contribute to ClickFunnels’ overwhelming complexity, something that many users point out as a negative in their reviews (more or on that right below).

ClickFunnels reviews — the good and the bad

  • G2 →  4.6 ⭐️/ 5
  • Capterra →  4.5 ⭐️/ 5

The best way to get a fair judgment of any tech product in today’s day and age is through verified user reviews, and it’s always good to check on them when comparing tools and deciding which to invest money in.

After reading through numerous reviews, here’s what ClickFunnels users like and dislike most about this platform:

✅Many users appreciate the comprehensive toolset offered under one platform, reducing the need for third-party integrations.
✅Users are really pleased with the user-friendly drag-and-drop features for creating sales and marketing funnels, websites, and landing pages.
✅ Many users find the native templates highly effective for driving conversions, while the built-in courses and resources have also proven to be helpful.

❎Unsurprisingly, some users feel that the platform tries to do too much, leading to a lack of specialization and feature overload.
❎A lot of users report multiple bugs throughout ClickFunnels’ features, while other features are very limited in their capabilities.
❎Though you get a lot for your money, ClickFunnels’ pricing plans are considered expensive compared to competitors.

And now, here are some of the most upvoted real-world Click Funnel reviews:

“Some positives, but lots of bugs. I like the ability to drag and drop different aspects of the funnel. You can definitely make some solid websites, as long as it is simple. There are so many bugs with the software and you are so limited on what you’re able to build.”

“It looks outdated and I noticed they’re not really updating their software. Also, once you’re a user, they become *extremely* pushy and sales-y. It’s an all-in-one solution, there’s nothing you can’t do with this platform and I understand why it’s so common. It’s like the elephant in the glass shop, the UI is cluttered with stuff, options and useless frills.”

“If I needed one piece of software to run a business, Clickfunnels would be it. It is simple to use for funnel building. Can handle email lists. Integrates with other softwares easily.”

“System bugs, security failures, false advertising, over-billing / double billing and nobody to call or talk to-for account support, billing support or technical support.”

ClickFunnels pricing

When it comes to ClickFunnels’ pricing, things are not that straightforward. There are 2 only pricing plans, though unfortunately there’s little information available as to what features and limitations each plan comes with.

Also, there’s no freemium option for those wanting to give it a go before committing to a purchase (a quite hefty one as well).

They do offer a 14-day free trial, but unlike most other SaaS products out there—only after providing your credit card info, which is quite annoying if you ask me. Sure, they have a 30-day money-back guarantee after the trial ends should you want to discontinue using it, but it will most likely take some back and forth.

ClickFunnels pricing

In any case, let’s take a brief look at ClickFunnels’ 2 pricing tiers:

  • Startup plan

Starts at $81/month (annual subscription) and gives access to 3 brand workspaces and 3 team members, so would you need team members to work on your sales/marketing workflows—an upgrade is required. On the other hand, you do get unlimited access to virtually all of its main features which is pretty cool.

  • Pro plan

Starts at a staggering $248/month (annual subscription) and bumps up the number of workspaces and users to 10, making it the suitable plan for bigger teams out there. It’s unknown exactly what (if any) features are exclusive to the ‘Pro plan’ or whether it’s just about giving more seats to use the platform.

Is ClickFunnels worth the cost?

Time to address the elephant in the room—is the somewhat hefty price tag worth it?

In summary, while it offers an abundance of various features, the ClickFunnels pricing is probably not justified for the vast majority of businesses. It’s best suited for smaller companies and solopreneurs that need a simplified all-in-one solution without the hassle of using multiple tools.

However, businesses that have complex and growing sales workflows would definitely be better off with a more specialized tool like Reply.io, and we will see exactly how they measure up in the next section.

Best ClickFunnels alternative — Reply.io

There are tons of ClickFunnel alternatives out there, especially considering the fact that they’re competing with sales, marketing, and CRM platforms, and that’s no easy task.

ClickFunnels is undoubtedly a solid tool for several use cases, but If you’re primarily considering it for your sales operations, you’re definitely better off with dedicated sales tools like Reply.

One of the leading sales tools out there is Reply.io—an AI-powered sales automation suite that offers numerous specialized features, from multichannel outreach to AI SDRs and beyond.

Compared to ClickFunnels, the key differences include:

  • With Reply.io, you get multiple channels for your outreach campaigns (including email, cloud calls, LinkedIn, SMS, and WhatsApp), along with conditional sequences
  • With Reply’s native B2B contact database, users can build targeted prospect lists right through the platform, and then add them to tailored, AI-generated outreach campaigns with a click of a button;
  • Reply.io offers AI SDRs that identify potential buyers, hyper-personalize your outreach AND handle responses on your behalf, including booking meetings;

Tired of cold outreach? Let AI handle it.

Jason AI finds your ideal customers, crafts personalized messages, and gets them to say YES—all while you focus on closing.

Put Jason to work
  • With Reply’s Google Postmaster and MailToaster integrations, and a dedicated deliverability team at their disposal, users can enjoy the same top-class email deliverability as with Smartlead;
  • Multiple LinkedIn automation features to leverage the top professional network, making it a breeze to connect with key decision-makers;
  • Last but not least, Reply.io provides powerful team management features to keep better track of sales reps’ performance, tasks, KPIs, etc.

Overall, when it comes to sales operations, ClickFunnels simply doesn’t measure up with specialized, AI-powered platforms like Reply.io. But once again, it all depends on what you’re looking for.

Is ClickFunnels the right tool for your business?

ClickFunnels is a powerful but complex platform that tries to be a jack-of-all-trades. While it offers numerous features spanning across sales, marketing, CRM, customer service, web design, and more, the platform’s complexity and high cost prevent many businesses from switching to this tool.

In evaluating whether ClickFunnels is the right sales tool for your business, consider your specific needs, how much value you can extract from its features, and whether you’d be better off with a more specialized sales and/or marketing platform(s).

On this final note, we humbly invite you to take Reply.io for a free spin and see if perhaps we’d be a great fit. Till next time!
